The PTE Reading section is aimed at evaluating your ability to read and interpret academic English. It is the second section of the PTE and the total time allotted for this PTE reading is approximately 32-41 minutes.
InThe PTE reading test assesses your ability in analyzing and comprehending academic vocabulary. Moreover, the information can be presented either implicitly or explicitly in the form of phrases, words and/or abstract information.
You must be able to identify the topic and its supporting points, examples and the context in which the text is written. The reading materials for this section are all authentic texts about a variety of academic subjects including natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences.

For the reading section of the PTE Academic, the trick is to have fluency in reading, focus, and understanding. You will be using these skills at once when attempting the exam, but while practising you will have to learn them step-wise.

Read the text and answer the question by selecting all the correct responses. More than one response is correct.

Fill in the blanks
You will get 4 to 5 paragraphs, read them and fill in the blanks question. The PTE reading fill in the blank’s paragraph length can be of 80 to 90 words with 5 to 6 blanks.
